Puzzel announces Get Connected, London to take place on 20 September following news of scheduled rail strikes

September 6, 2022 – London: Puzzel, a leading European CCaaS innovator, has today announced a new date for Get Connected in the Anywhere World, their annual premier event for customer-centric businesses and contact centre professionals. The announcement comes as rail strikes are scheduled to take place on September 15, with drivers working for a dozen train operators set to walk out in a dispute over pay.

The conference, which has been running for over seven years, will now be held on September 20 to ensure attendees are unaffected by travel disruptions. This year will be the first time since 2019 that Get Connected in the Anywhere World has taken place in person due to the global pandemic.

Train drivers at the following companies are set to strike:

• Avanti West Coast
• Chiltern Railways
• CrossCountry
• Greater Anglia
• Great Western Railway
• Hull Trains
• LNER
• London Overground
• Northern Trains
• Southeastern
• TransPennine Express
• West Midlands Trains

Jonathan Allan, Chief Marketing Officer at Puzzel, commented: “The pandemic stopped us from coming together and enjoying the advantages of meeting in person for too long. We shouldn’t let a rail strike deprive us of that privilege for another year. While the change in date isn’t ideal, we believe it’s important that our community has the opportunity to meet in person without the added stress of travel disruptions and cancellations.”

Get Connected in the Anywhere World will bring together CX leaders from across the UK, Nordics and Europe to get together, get inspired and learn new skills. Attendees will be joined by the likes of Martin Hill-Wilson, Nerys Corfield, Phil Anderson from The Forum, Geoff Forsyth from PCI Pal and many more.
